10 Ways to Wrap-up 2010
- Reflect on what you set out to do this year. Celebrate your wins, take stock of where you fell short. Really celebrate in whatever way lights you up, and if it is fitting, invite others to join you!
- Find one thing that you promised to accomplish this year – that can be completed in the next 3 weeks – and get it done. Then you can add it to your “wins” to celebrate.
- Set aside a few hours and write no less than 10 letters of gratitude to people who have made significant contributions to you this year.
- Pick up the phone and call 3 people who you know would love to hear your voice.
- Handwrite a thank you to a person, or company, whose product or service went above and beyond your expectations.
- Make an online contribution to an organization you benefitted from or one that has impressed you as of late (Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCA, Gye Nyame Empowerment Project, etc).
- Renew your commitment to a health/wellness routine or plan. Honor your word to yourself around it for the next 24 days as an opportunity to demonstrate that the future starts today.
- Clean your home; empty a storage space; organize a mess. Allow for a fresh start.
- Purchase a 2011 daily calendar for work or home that is inspiring or funny (I like The Secret’s Daily Teachings and The Far Side) OR make your own monthly calendar using a printing service and your favorite 12 photos (see the one I'm giving as gifts por mi familia for 2011 - above).
- Create an intention for 2011 – write a list of things you plan to accomplish or changes you’d like to make, write a congratulations letter to yourself for all that you will have fulfilled and schedule reading it in your PDA or calendar on Dec 31, 2011, create a vision board.
